VirtualDJ Online Music: Spotify and Streaming on Windows

Quick answer. VirtualDJ supports online music integrations alongside local files. Accounts, catalog availability and permissions vary by provider; a software license is not a music subscription.

Start with the installed Windows application

This website is a guide, not a browser mixer or a music streaming service. Catalog sign-in takes place through the installed software and the provider's authorization flow. Never submit provider credentials to this website.

Current Spotify support

The publisher's September 21, 2026 release entry introduced Spotify in build 9644. Its current manual requires Spotify Premium and excludes stems and offline caching. Read the dedicated Spotify guide for setup, restrictions and troubleshooting.

Other catalog workflows

Use the current publisher catalog directory and provider documentation for supported plans. Do not assume that caching, recording or stems rules are identical across services. A playlist visible in the interface may still require internet access and authorization before playback.

Prepare for unavailable tracks

Keep a lawful local test playlist and a backup workflow. If streaming fails but a local track plays, investigate account or connection conditions before altering working audio settings.

Regional availability

US and Canadian account availability, music catalogs and final subscription charges must be checked with the relevant provider. This site does not promise that every song or plan is offered in both countries.
